Hamirpur is situated at lower height and comparatively warmer. Hamirpur has some hilly ranges covered with Pine forests. This district was made in 1972 by splitting it out from the Kangra district. It is well connected by roads from all sides. The main of attractions in Hamirpur are DeotsidhTemple, Temple of Sujanpur Tira and Nadaun. The temperatures usually remain between 3°C and 40°C. Traveler can visit Hamirpur throughout the year as overall temperature remains warm most of the year except in extreme winter. Hamirpur town is the Headquarter of this District, which lies on Shimla Dharamshala road.
